A 13-year-old boy has been injured with a serious leg fracture after suffering a fall in a jameo near the Volcán de la Corona, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center.
The incident took place at 1:13 p.m. this Tuesday, when CECOES received an alert requesting medical assistance. The GES helicopter, a medicalized ambulance and a basic life support ambulance from the SUC, the Security Consortium and agents of the Local Police have traveled to the scene.
The firefighters have reached the minor and have requested the intervention of the helicopter for his rescue. The helicopter has transferred him to Arrecife, where a medicalized ambulance from the SUC has taken over his assistance and transfer to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital.
