Several neighbors have extinguished a vehicle fire in Puerto del Carmen. The events took place on Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. on Anzuelo Street in the tourist town of Tías.
According to reports from the Security and Emergency Consortium, the Local Police of Tías had closed the road once the firefighters arrived in the area.
Once at the scene, they were able to verify that the neighbors themselves had extinguished the flames with powder extinguishers, but that smoke was still coming from the engine inside the vehicle.
The firefighters proceeded to extinguish it with water and later with foam, using propack.
After that, they informed the Emergency Coordination Center of its completion.
