A 51-year-old man, with mild smoke inhalation, has been transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital after the fire in his home on Buero Vallejo Street in the municipality of Arrecife.
At 6:50 p.m., a call from the fire department alerted the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2, reporting smoke coming out of the window of a house.
Firefighters from the Security, Emergency, Rescue, Prevention and Extinction of Fires Consortium of the island of Lanzarote verified that a fire had broken out and proceeded to extinguish the flames and ventilate the building.
SUC health personnel assisted a single person affected and transferred him to Molina Orosa.
The Local Police secured the area and instructed the corresponding procedures.
Civil Protection collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
