The Local Police of Tías have arrested a man, after being caught manipulating a telephone booth in Anzuelo street in Puerto del Carmen, using a metal rod that he had inserted through the coin return mechanism of said booth.
The detainee, O.I., 30 years old and a native of Bulgaria, was found with three more metal rods, a screwdriver, pliers and a knife, according to reports from the Local Police.
These effects, together with the proceedings, were placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
