Maritime Rescue rescues 77 people on an inflatable near Lanzarote

Among the occupants there are 6 women and 3 children, all in apparent good health

Maritime Rescue has rescued this Sunday, June 14, an inflatable boat carrying 77 people, including 6 women and 3 children. All appear to be in good health.

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM, about 44 miles east of Lanzarote, according to the Emergency Consortium.

The people will arrive around 5:15 PM at the Puerto Naos dock where they will be attended by the Red Cross.

The last precarious boat rescued by Salvamar Al Nair of Maritime Rescue was last Tuesday, May 25. On the inflatable boat, 24 people were traveling and were in good health.
