Around noon, the Island Coordination Center of the Red Cross received a call from a witness, reporting the fall of a person on the mountain of Caldera Blanca, in the municipality of Tinajo.
An assistance ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but the difficult access to the victim forced a call to the GIE helicopter.
According to the assessment made by the Red Cross technicians, the victim presented a possible fracture of the right tibia and fibula, so she was transferred to the General Hospital of Lanzarote to receive medical attention.
