Firefighters have rescued two people from a fire in an abandoned house on Democracia Street in Arrecife. At around 07:00 this Sunday, the Cecoes alerted the Emergency Consortium to the fire in an abandoned house in the capital of Lanzarote.

According to reports from the entity, upon arrival they saw a man coming out of a window, the only exit from the house, who informs them that he was fine and that there were two other people inside. As the fire was located in the room with access to the exit, they left them in the patio while the firefighters extinguished the fire.

Once extinguished and ventilated, the Consortium's personnel took out the two people who were fine and did not require medical assistance. The National Police also attended the scene.
