Firefighters rescued a woman trapped in an elevator on Norte Street in Arrecife last Wednesday. Firefighters arrived at the scene around 8:41 p.m. alerted by the CECOES.
Once there, they proceeded to open the elevator door, the cabin of which was between floors 0 and 1 of the building, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium. Then, they aligned the cabin to the ground floor from the elevator's machine room.
Next, when the cabin was on the ground floor, the elevator doors were opened and the woman came out of the interior. In addition, medical assistance was not necessary, as the woman was fine.
Local Police also went to the scene and collaborated in the rescue.
