The Emergency Consortium had to intervene this Friday in extinguishing the fire of two containers in San Bartolomé and Puerto del Carmen.
The first one occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Isidro Street in San Bartolomé. It was a container fire intended for the use of recycled paper. The firefighters extinguished it with water jet and later with foam using the propack. Local Police agents also moved to the place.
Later, around 10:50 p.m., the CECOES alerted of the fire of the garbage collection container on Marte Street in Puerto del Carmen. The emergency teams extinguished it with foam. Local Police, Civil Guard and Civil Protection were at the scene.
