Firefighters extinguished the fire of several organic waste containers in the Uga church early this Thursday morning. The fire took place at 4:15 a.m. on Joaquín Rodríguez Street.
Alerted by the City Council's garbage collection personnel, the emergency teams approached the place and found that there were at least five garbage containers burning. Immediately afterwards, they proceeded to extinguish the fire in the containers and minutes later, there was no trace of the fire, reports the Security and Emergency Consortium.
In addition, the containers were completely destroyed, the Consortium points out.
