Firefighters extinguished a fire this Wednesday in an abandoned house in Arrecife. The events took place around 7:36 p.m. on Brasilia Street, after an alert call from a private individual, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
Local Police officers, firefighters and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service went to the scene.
Upon arriving at the scene, emergency personnel confirmed that it was a widespread fire of belongings in a room on the roof of a building under construction. Before proceeding to extinguish it, they carried out a quick inspection to ensure that there were no people inside the building. And finally they extinguished the fire with water.
The Local Police were in charge of securing the area and facilitating the firefighters' extinguishing work.
