A fire broke out early this Friday in a house in Playa Blanca. It was on Montaña Roja street, where firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium went to put it out. The owner of the house, according to reports from the Consortium, was able to leave on his own.
The firefighters were alerted to the fire at around 1 a.m. The fire occurred in the kitchen. According to reports from the Consortium, the owner of the house began to prepare something to eat and, with the fire on, fell asleep, until the smoke woke him up and he called the firefighters.
The fire scared his dog, who tried to run away. He got "caught in a fence" that the firefighters had to break to help him and "be able to save him", they add. Finally, the flames only affected the kitchen of the house, some parts of which have been completely burned.
