The NGO Emergencies and Rescue Lanzarote (EMERLAN) refloated last Friday afternoon a boat of about 6 meters in length that was sunk in the dock of Puerto del Carmen.
According to a statement from the association itself, the boat had sunk due to a water leak caused by unknown causes.
Notified by the Port Authority of the Government of the Canary Islands, Emerlan personnel towed the boat with the boat it owns and based in the same port, leaving it in dry dock.
Emerlan's writing points out that, fortunately, there were no victims to regret since there were no occupants in the sunken boat.
