Two occupants of a catamaran that had run aground in La Graciosa are assisted

Emerlan assisted two people of Polish origin this Tuesday morning, whose catamaran had run aground in the Punta de Los Corrales area, in La Graciosa.

After being alerted around 00:15 hours by 112, Emerlan personnel moved to the area, verifying that the boat was indeed stranded.

According to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, although the occupants were able to reach land on their own, they presented erosions and a state of anxiety, so they were transferred by Emerlan to the health center for medical evaluation.
