Firefighters extinguished the fire of belongings and wooden pallets thrown next to several containers in Arrecife, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The fire occurred around 10:00 p.m. on Campoamor Street in the capital of Lanzarote.
Once alerted by the CECOES, the firefighters went to the place to extinguish the fire in two containers destined for the use of organic waste. Immediately afterwards, they proceeded to extinguish them with water using the quick-response hose.
Finally, the flames did not completely affect the two containers, only a quarter of them burned, the rest of the containers destined for recycling did not suffer damage from the fire.
