The burning of containers continues in Arrecife. This Thursday night, four containers located on Agrupación folclórica Los Campesinos street in the capital of Lanzarote burned, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The fire started around 9:00 p.m. when they were alerted by the CECOES. Agents from the National Police, the Local Police and firefighters went to the scene.
The emergency teams extinguished the fire with sprayed and jetted water from the four containers, two for glass collection, one for cardboard and another for organic waste.
For their part, the police officers established a security perimeter.
