A man died this Wednesday as a result of a fall of about 20 meters in height. The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium went at noon to the road that connects Tinajo and Tiagua, to the Montaña de Tinache. They had received a notice of rescue of a person who had suffered a fall, but upon arrival they found that the man had died.
According to sources from the Consortium, the deceased is a worker of a company that performs work in that area. The man was on one of the communication towers that are on the top of that mountain. From there he fell, losing his life.
Two ambulances, one of them medicalized, of the Canary Emergency Service have also traveled to the area. Unfortunately, upon arrival the medical personnel could only certify the death of the worker. In addition, Civil Protection personnel and agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Tinajo have come to the area, who have waited for the arrival of the judicial authority to lift the body.
