Lanzarote emergency services rescued a woman this Monday who was hiking in the Mirador del Río area, after suffering a fracture in one of her legs.
Given the difficulty of accessing the area, emergency services had to carry out the rescue by helicopter.
The woman was taken to Arrecife airport, from where she was transferred to the hospital for the relevant medical examination.
