A woman suffered minor injuries when two vehicles collided in Lanzarote, on Avenida Gran Aldea in Villa de Teguise, in the municipality of Teguise, according to the press service of the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The injured woman is 50 years old and suffered trauma to her lower limb of a minor nature, and was transferred by a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service to the Dr. José Molina Orosa Hospital.
At 2:56 p.m., a call from the Local Police informed the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center that two vehicles had collided and two of their occupants required medical assistance.
The SUC medical personnel attended to one of the injured and, after being stabilized, transferred him to the reference hospital. The second injured person was transferred by a private resource.
