Medical personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) recover a woman after a possible drowning in Lanzarote, on Flamingo beach, in the municipality of Yaiza. At the time of admission to the Doctor José Medina Orosa hospital, her condition was critical.
The affected woman is a 63-year-old woman of Norwegian origin, who this afternoon was rescued by some bathers with symptoms of having suffered a drowning. Witnesses to the event communicated with the Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies and explained that they were performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on her.
The medical personnel of the SUC, together with that of the health center in the area, verified upon arriving at the place that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest and performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers that managed to recover her. After stabilizing her, they transferred her in critical condition to the aforementioned hospital.
