A woman gave birth this morning, around 02:30 hours, inside a vehicle in La Santa, according to a local resident.
The woman, according to this resident, was in the vehicle with her husband when she went into labor. "I heard cries for help in the street and a car honking. I went out to see what was happening and found a woman who was giving birth," says this citizen.
It was then, with the help of the Civil Guard, "who were passing through the area", and another resident of La Santa, who "is a nurse", that the woman gave birth inside the vehicle because, according to this resident, "the ambulance took 50 minutes to arrive". "When it arrived, the woman had already given birth," he says.
Once the ambulance arrived in the area, around 03:20 hours, the mother was stabilized and taken to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital with the baby.
