A woman gave birth this Wednesday in her vehicle after going into labor on the way to Doctor José Molina Orosa at the Arrieta crossing, in the municipality of Haría.
A person called the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 reporting that he was with his wife, pregnant in the final stage of pregnancy, in his vehicle on the way to the hospital and she had gone into labor without being able to continue their march.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources while the doctor of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) located in the operating room was giving them instructions, through teleassistance, on how they had to act until the arrival of the baby.
Once at the scene, the ambulance medical personnel assisted both the mother and her son and evacuated them to the aforementioned Dr. José Molina Orosa hospital center for observation. Both are in good health.
The Local Police regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures.
