García Escámez street in Arrecife witnessed a brutal accident between two vehicles this Saturday, which, almost miraculously, did not leave serious injuries. The incident took place around 5:00 p.m., when two cars collided and one of them ended up overturning.
The occupants of the vehicles were able to get out of the cars on their own, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium, and did not need the help of the firefighters who traveled to the scene.
One of those involved did have to be transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital, as he presented multiple contusions, although of a "less serious" nature, according to the Canary Emergency Service. The affected person, according to the same sources, is a 52-year-old man.
In addition to firefighters from the Consortium and SUC personnel; which has sent a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance, agents from the Local Police also attended the area, who have taken charge of preparing the corresponding report.
