A small fire has broken out in one of the apartments in the Teguise Gardens hotel in Costa Teguise. The fire started in the bedroom of the apartment, where it burned the mattress, some furniture and clothing. The tenants, realizing the flames, alerted the reception and together with the hotel workers began to put out the flames.
The firefighters of the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium also came, alerted by the Cecoes, and when they arrived they finished putting out the flames and then ventilated the room due to the large amount of smoke that had accumulated in it.
