Costa Teguise has been without water since 2:00 p.m. The general pipe that carries water to the entire town broke this Thursday afternoon, December 29.
According to reports from Canal Gestión, operators have been trying to fix the pipe problem since morning. The break occurred on Sorondongo Street near the Costa Teguise Civil Guard barracks and has affected the rest of the urbanization. The company that manages the water expects that "the supply will be restored in about three hours."
The water cut not only affects the more than 8,000 residents but also the entire accommodation plant and the restaurants and bars in the town.
