A house at number 91 Triana Street, in Arrecife, has suffered a fire this Wednesday. The event took place around 2:30 p.m. and, although there were no victims or injuries, the kitchen has been practically burned.

When the owner of the house saw smoke coming out of the kitchen, she asked her neighbors for help. One of them quickly came to this house and managed to put out the fire with his extinguisher, according to the Firefighters, who also came to this street and proceeded to ventilate the entire building.

According to these same sources, the fire may have started in a fryer, which had been on for too long. That caused the spark to jump, which caused the subsequent fire.

Although the owner of the house was very nervous when the firefighters arrived, the truth is that there was no personal injury to regret.

This is the third fire that has occurred in Lanzarote in just three days. The first occurred on Monday in a cafeteria located on Central Avenue in Tías. As a result of the fire, a 36-year-old woman had to be transferred to the Tías health center, as she presented a mild intoxication due to smoke inhalation.

The second fire occurred this Tuesday, on Chile Street, in Arrecife. An 80-year-old man was slightly injured after suffering burns to his face and neck, as a result of a fire that broke out in his home.
