A man in his 40s died this Friday while in a hiking area in the municipality of Haría, the Camino de las Rositas de Ye. Firefighters were activated at around 1:45 p.m., although the first notice reported a fall. However, upon arriving at the scene, they found that the man had died.
According to sources from the Emergency and Security Consortium, everything points to the fact that he may have suffered a heart attack, from which he could not be recovered by the paramedics who also came to the scene.
The firefighters, whose presence was requested by the Civil Guard, were in charge of transferring the body of the deceased on a speleology stretcher to the upper part of the Risco, where the funeral services were located to take charge of the corpse.
In addition to agents of the Civil Guard, members of the Local Police of Haría also came to the scene.
