Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium rescued a 37-year-old hiker who was lost in Los Ajaches on Monday night.
After being alerted around 9:40 p.m. that the woman was in the Papagayo area to Playa Quemada, the firefighters went to the place, locating the hiker in the Parrado area.
According to the Consortium, the woman was "in good condition" and was taken to her home, ending the service after that.
