A house on Ramón y Cajal street in Arrecife has been affected by a gas leak from a cylinder on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place around 12 noon, when a neighbor raised the alarm, due to the smell of gas. Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium and Local Police officers went to the scene.
The firefighters accessed the house through the balcony, which was open. Once there, it was found that there was no one inside the house and that the gas leak came from a cylinder in the house. The firefighters ventilated the house and disconnected the cylinder from the installation.
