A fire has burned this Monday several kitchen furniture that were stored in a garage in Arrecife and has also affected the house located just above. The event took place on Vicente Guerra Street in Arrecife, where members of the Emergency and Security Consortium and the Local Police have moved, who have been in charge of cutting off the street.
After opening the garage door, the firefighters extinguished the fire with sprayed and jet water. In addition, they had to access the upper house, since the flames broke the windows of the house, which was flooded with smoke.
After verifying that there was no one inside, the firefighters were in charge of ventilating the house with the help of the fan. Afterwards, they also had to access another house, since a neighbor left his house due to the fire, leaving the keys inside. Thus, the firefighters entered from the outside through one of the windows to open the door, before ending the service.
