A vehicle suffered a traffic accident during the early hours of this Sunday, June 21, on the LZ-18 road, at the height of the exit of Costa Teguise, after impacting the guardrail of the road.

The incident was reported at 04:48 hours by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES), which mobilized the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, EMERLAN, and the Guardia Civil to the scene of the accident.

Upon arrival, the personnel were informed by EMERLAN staff that the occupants of the vehicle were no longer in the area, having left the scene before the arrival of the emergency services.

Once authorized by the Guardia Civil, the firefighters proceeded to clean the roadway and remove plastic and glass debris that had been scattered after the impact.

After the damaged vehicle was removed by a tow truck, the personnel concluded the service and returned to their base.
