A driver fled after crashing into a wall on the Vía Medular in the capital of Lanzarote on Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 03:00 hours and due to the impact the wall was completely destroyed affecting the junction box of the electrical wiring that was inside.
Once alerted by the Local Police, the firefighters went to the scene. They collected all the rubble that had remained on the road and verified that the cables that were exposed did not have electrical current to finally protect and mark all the affected perimeter.
