A boat has been intercepted this Wednesday morning by Maritime Rescue five miles off the coast of Lanzarote.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, 23 people have arrived on the boat, including three minors and one woman.
The occupants of the boat have been transferred to the La Cebolla dock in Arrecife, where they have been assisted by the Red Cross. All of them are in good general condition, afebrile and without symptoms compatible with Covid.
The immigrants stated that they departed from Tarfaya and had been on board for two days.
