Salvamar rescued a boat with 45 people, including four women and two children, on the high seas this Wednesday.

All have been transferred to the commercial dock of Arrecife, where they have been assisted by the Red Cross. One of them had to be transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.

As for the rest, he states that they presented "good general condition" and had no fever or symptoms compatible with Covid-19.

According to the migrants, they left El Aaiún and had been on board for four days.

This is the second boat rescued near the coasts of Lanzarote in less than 24 hours. This Tuesday another boat with 27 immigrants was located, although in this case it was transferred to Fuerteventura.
