A 70-year-old man has died this afternoon after scuba diving in Charco del Palo, as reported by CECOES.
After being alerted by CECOES, two ambulances from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), the Local Police of Teguise and the Civil Guard were transferred.
The events occurred around 2:00 p.m., when the man began to feel ill when leaving the water, lost consciousness and went into cardiorespiratory arrest. Despite the resuscitation maneuvers of the paramedics, they could not do anything to save his life.
Police officers instructed the corresponding proceedings.
