A 50-year-old woman was injured this Friday after being hit by a car in Arrecife. The incident occurred at 9:06 a.m. on Peña del Chache street, according to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 112.
At this time, the Coordinating Center received an alert call reporting that a woman had been hit by a car and needed medical assistance on a street in Arrecife. Following this, 112 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Thus, the healthcare personnel of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) assisted the affected woman and transferred her in a basic life support ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital. The woman presented a trauma to the upper and lower limb of a less serious nature.
The Local Police of Arrecife regulated traffic on this street and instructed the corresponding procedures.
