He had burns on his arms and legs and was taken by ambulance to Molina Orosa

A 19-year-old has suffered second-degree burns to his legs and arms in a small explosion that occurred in a store in Arrecife. The incident took place around 1:20 p.m. in a store on Pedro Barba street in the capital of Lanzarote.

Firefighters from the Emergency Consortium, local police officers and an ambulance from the SUC have traveled to the scene. The medical staff has assisted the young man, who has been transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital.

The Consortium Firefighters have ventilated the premises. The Local Police has collaborated with the emergency resources.

The National Police has instructed the corresponding proceedings.
