The police have arrested a man in Playa Blanca, accused of robbery with force. The events occurred when at approximately 05:35 hours this Thursday, the Civil Guard of Yaiza received a call from a woman reporting that an individual of Maghrebi origin had stolen her bag using the "snatch method" in Playa Blanca.
After requesting support from the Local Police of the southern municipality, officers located a suspect, about ten minutes later, who matched the description provided by the victim. The suspect was transferred to the Civil Guard facilities in Playa Blanca, where he was identified by the complainant, according to sources from the Local Police of Yaiza.
It was then that S.E.K., 19 years old, was arrested for an alleged robbery with force and intimidation.
