A 77-year-old man was injured after his van overturned this Thursday on Camino Las Huertitas, in the town of La Vegueta, according to the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).
The 112 received a call at approximately 11:56 AM reporting that a van had overturned and its occupant was trapped inside, prompting the activation of the necessary emergency resources.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters from the Emergency Consortium secured the crashed vehicle and **freed its occupant** from inside the cabin. Subsequently, healthcare personnel from the SUC assessed and assisted the affected individual, who presented with **moderate multiple contusions**
After that, the injured person was transferred by a medicalized ambulance to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
A basic life support ambulance and the Local Police, who drew up the corresponding report, also arrived at the scene
