"Espirales" is the 12th album recorded solo by the musician and timple player Benito Cabrera, a work that was recorded live at Multitrack studios and includes 12 compositions, where its author has returned to his roots, adding new arrangements to each of the themes, respecting the traditional.

The presentation took place at the El Almacén Cultural Center, a space that, according to Cabrera, holds very good memories of his youth. Therefore, for him this presentation concert made him relive past times, where he was able to enjoy and learn a lot from all those people who have contributed so much to Canarian culture.

For this presentation, Benito Cabrera had three great musicians with whom he carried out this musical recording: Tomás Fariña on guitar, Echedey Sosa on bass and Sergio García on percussion and voice. With a very careful staging, Cabrera gave life to each of the compositions. As a great musical connoisseur, he greatly enriched the concert, adding to each of the themes the particularities and variants related to them existing in other regions and parts of the unimaginable world. The audience was able to enjoy such traditional pieces as La Danza del Trigo, Berlina, Mazurca, Aires de Lima or Campesina, among others.

Benito Cabrera also had a very special memory for Florián Corujo, his teacher and friend, dedicating Nube de Hielo to him, one of the compositions most requested by the public who attend his concerts. Once finished, the public responded with a resounding applause. When the time came to say goodbye, he had to do several encores and ended with a fun Polca to which the public contributed with their applause. Once the concert was over, Benito Cabrera signed albums for everyone who asked.
