The Yaiza City Council has reminded that the Canarian singer-songwriter El Vega Life will offer a concert this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca. The council has invited young people and families from Lanzarote to enjoy a Saturday of water party in the tourist town in the south of the island and to listen live to the "creator of the rumbita canaria and interpreter of contagious urban rhythms that radiate joy wherever they sound". The well-known DJ Elvis is also scheduled to play at the event.
The Yaiza Department of Youth, directed by Daniel Medina, thus completes the Young August program, although before El Vega's live performance, this Saturday, Yaiza has organized a skate workshop at 11:00 a.m., in the Mediterranean Park of Playa Blanca, and there is also the last gasp next Friday, August 25 with a wooden games activity in Calle Limones in Playa Blanca.
“We invite our young people from Yaiza and the young people of Lanzarote to intensely experience this Saturday full of fusions of Latin rhythms encouraged by the talent and charisma of a great Canarian artist such as El Vega”, declares the councilor responsible for the Youth Area. Yaiza carries out the Young August program with the support of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
