The Inclusive Pilgrimage of Tahíche continues to grow. The CEIP César Manrique Cabrera consolidates in its second edition an activity that brings together special education students and elderly people from senior centers in the streets of the town on the occasion of the events programmed for Canary Islands Day.

A multicolored crowd intermingled and animated by five decorated floats pulled by a tractor, three donkeys and a pony once passed the respective veterinary controls as tradition dictates in Lanzarote. One more year, thank the neighbor of Tahíche, Nito Delgado, for his commitment to rescuing popular traditions that goes much further, developing a workshop at the school for the traditional elaboration of the kite and other instruments for the rhythmic animation of the band, such as sandugas, rattles and tambourines.

This activity, which involves a great deal of work for the educational centers and participating organizations, has the special collaboration of the Teguise City Council, providing all the means that the security of the Inclusive Pilgrimage implies, so that the entire route can be carried out from the departure of the CEIP César Manrique Cabrera until its return with all the guarantees that an event of these characteristics needs.
