Canarian soprano Raquel Lojendio and Madrid-based pianist Chiky Martín will offer a concert in Lanzarote as part of the 42nd Canary Islands International Music Festival.
The concert will take place at the Víctor Fernández Gopar “El Salinero” Theater on February 6th at 8:00 PM.
Cantos de dos mundos is an invitation to a delicious journey across two Atlantic shores proposed by two musical figures: the Canarian soprano Raquel Lojendio and the Madrid-born pianist Chiky Martín.
Both performers, who are regular collaborators, will tour Spain, Argentina, and Brazil with the works of their most prominent composers: from Lorca to Villa-Lobos, including Falla, Halffter, Guastavino, Ginastera, Lorenzo Fernández, and Ovalle.
