The students of Arrecife are finalizing the details so that the different neighborhoods of Arrecife can enjoy the visit of Santa Claus until next Saturday, December 23.
Noel's Dressing Room is one of the star events of the program of activities that the Arrecife City Council has prepared for these Christmas holidays. The council, presided over by the mayor Yonathan de León, has planned, through the Department of Festivities, directed by Echedey Eugenio, to show every corner of Arrecife to one of the most mythical and beloved characters of Christmas.
“There will be a small representation where attendees will meet Santa Claus, be able to approach him, tell him their wishes and take photos for remembrance,” explains Eugenio.
The activity, open to the public, will take place outdoors in two daily sessions, which will take place at 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the different points of the capital (schedules attached).
But this proposal from the Department of Festivities is preceded by another from the Department of Education, directed by Abigail González, in which the boys and girls of each educational center have participated with great enthusiasm. “We have asked them to create decorative elements of a Christmas nature to put them on a tree near the school. This tree has been identified with the name of the corresponding school,” the councilor emphasizes.
The trees made available are located: For the CEIP Capellanía in the Plaza de San Francisco Javier (in front of the church); for the CEIP Adolfo Topham and CEIP Nieves Toledo in the Plaza de Valterra (on Gobernador José García Hernández street with Clavijo y Fajardo); for the CEIP Antonio Zerolo and CEIP La Destila in the Simón Bolívar Park (Guenia street with Tagoror); for the CEIP Argana Alta and the CEO Argana in the Park located on Claudio Toledo street with Santiago Alemán; for the CEIP Titerroy and the CEIP Benito Méndez in the Plaza Pio XII; and for the CEIP Los Geranios in the Park located on Mosta street with Mina.
On his tour, Santa Claus will be in charge of placing his itinerant dressing room very close to each tree so that everyone can admire the work done by the little ones.
