Drag Avalon’ was proclaimed the winner on Thursday night of the Drag Star Gala of the Arrecife Carnival, which featured the participation of ten drag queens and was illuminated by the stellar performance of Nebulossa, in what constituted the first appearance on a stage of the Valencian duo after their brand new election as Spain's representative in the next Eurovision Festival.
Recovered by the current government group in the program of events of the Arrecife City Council Carnival, which is presided over by Mayor Yonathan de León, through the Department of Celebrations led by Echedey Eugenio, the Drag Star Gala overflowed with ingenuity, creativity, audacity, satire and extravagance by the work and grace of the ten competing drags who performed in a full way in their performances.

For its part, ‘Drag Vulcano’ was proclaimed first finalist, while ‘Drag Luck’ and ‘Drag Lemnos’ shared the second finalist band after adding to the vote of the expert jury, the votes cast by the attending public through an original delivery of crowns.
The Gala, presented by drag queen Supremme de Luxe, actor, dancer and singer Raúl Maro and journalist Laura San José, also featured performances by the iconic Vania Vainilla and Samantha Hudson, who added their special touch to an event that was attended by almost 4,000 people who crowded the Agramar fairgrounds.
