Fernández stressed that “Lanzarote is not only a holiday destination, but also a territory with the capacity to host professional meetings, generate content, attract talent, and project itself through new narratives linked to image, experience, and creation”. In this regard, he highlighted that Meetings FesTVal Lanzarote “reinforces the island's positioning as an audiovisual destination and as an ideal setting for holding events that combine media projection, professional activity, citizen participation, and return for the territory”.

The CEO added that the incorporation of a training action with the Pancho Lasso School of Art “opens a particularly interesting avenue, because it allows the event not only to look towards the consolidated industry, but also towards the talent that is being trained in Lanzarote and that can find in audiovisual, television, and new formats an opportunity for professional development”.

A meeting space between industry, public, and local talent

For his part, the director of FesTVal, Joseba Fiestras, pointed out that “Meetings FesTVal Lanzarote was born with the vocation of bringing the world of television and the audiovisual industry closer to the island, generating a meeting space between professionals, creators, and spectators”.

Fiestras explained that this third edition “maintains that essence of dialogue between the industry and the public, with a program designed to enjoy, share knowledge, and reflect on the present and future of television”. The director of FesTVal also highlighted that “Lanzarote offers a particularly attractive context for this type of meeting, not only for its uniqueness as a destination, but also for its capacity to inspire content, host talent, and become a stage for relevant conversations for the audiovisual sector”.

He also valued the future collaboration with the Pancho Lasso School of Art as “an opportunity to bring students closer to the real perspective of professionals, their work processes, their career paths, and the possibilities that exist within an audiovisual industry in full transformation”.

Emblematic spaces of Lanzarote

The spaces planned for this edition include enclaves such as El Almacén, the Arrecife Nautical Club, the Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa, and the Atlántida cinemas, reinforcing the role of the Lanzarote capital as the main venue for events that seek to connect citizens with the audiovisual sector.

Meetings FesTVal Lanzarote will also celebrate the III FesTVal Lanzarote Awards gala, which will close this third edition and recognize the career and contribution of different professionals and formats linked to the television field.

The complete program will be announced soon through the official channels of the event. A training program with the Pancho Lasso School of Art As a novelty, Meetings FesTVal Lanzarote will incorporate a training action in collaboration with the Pancho Lasso School of Art, aimed at bringing the experience of audiovisual industry professionals closer to students linked to creative, visual, and artistic disciplines.

This initiative seeks to generate a direct connection between the event and the young talent of the island, creating a space for learning, inspiration, and contact with professional profiles in the sector. The action will reinforce the educational dimension of Meetings FesTVal Lanzarote and expand its impact beyond the public program, favoring knowledge transfer and bringing the audiovisual industry closer to new generations.
