This year, Meliá Hotels International plans to open at least 25 establishments, and one of those openings corresponds to the transformation of the Hotel Salinas de Costa Teguise into the Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote, which is scheduled to open on May 22, according to the tourism news portal Hosteltur.
In the hotel of Costa Teguise are being invested 15 million euros to turn it into a Paradisus, that is, a 5-star luxury hotel, all inclusive, which is defined by offering a “Destination Inclusive” experience, which combines “luxury with local culture and nature”. In this case it will be an establishment only for adults.
The Paradisus brand, owned by Victoria Hotels & Resorts and which already has a presence in the Caribbean, arrives for the first time in Spain with the new Salinas and also with the Paradisus Gran Canaria, the result of the transformation of the Meliá Tamarindo with an investment of 50 million euros.
This 5-star hotel for the whole family in Gran Canaria opens its doors next week and has more than 270 rooms, a gym, an outdoor pool, a children's play area, meeting rooms, a wellness center and a tennis court.
