The Cabildo of Lanzarote has put out to tender the supply and service for the installation of equipment and solutions for the digital transformation of the island's Tourist Offices. This initiative, with an investment of 824,997 euros, is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union - Next Generation EU.
The action includes the renewal of touchscreen and flat-panel monitors, digital tablets, and hearing aids, as well as video equipment installation services, consulting, software development, internet, and support.
The president, Oswaldo Betancort, highlights the value of these types of actions that lead to greater promotion and enhancement of island tourism abroad, as well as the development of mechanisms to evaluate the quality of the different activities carried out in the sector. "A fact that responds to the need to renew these types of facilities for optimal operation," he emphasizesFor her part, the vice president and counselor of Planning and Project Coordination, María Jesús Tovar, points out that "this project will improve the interactive experience of tourists in relation to access to information available at each point, facilitating the possibility of signing up and receiving specific information about their preferences throughout their stay."
The execution period for the work will be approximately five months. Interested individuals or entities can submit their bids until January 7 through the State Contracting Platform. Furthermore, the opening of economic bids will be from January 21 onwards
