The four weekly direct flights that Lanzarote residents had last year to travel to the French Riviera, two to Marseille and two to Nice, have disappeared from the schedule for this winter.

Thus, the two weekly Easyjet flights that connected Lanzarote with Nice last winter with a capacity of 368 passengers have been canceled for the winter season of frequencies that begins at the end of October.

Similarly, the Ryanair flight that last year connected Lanzarote with Marseille every week with a capacity of 197 people also disappears.

Likewise, the other direct connection to Marseille that was available last year by Volotea with a capacity of 180 travelers is also not included in the schedule for the new winter season.

France is thus left with 23 flights instead of the 26 of last year since an additional connection with Paris has been included by Transavia.

The total weekly capacity for the French country this winter is 4,244 seats compared to 4,801 last year.
