Prices to acquire a home in the capital of Lanzarote have increased by 11.1% in June compared to the same month last year, with the square meter currently costing 1,940 euros in Arrecife, according to the price index of the real estate portal Idealista.com.
However, the evolution of prices depends on the neighborhood. Just as the apartments in the center experienced great growth last year, in the last twelve months the growth of prices has shifted to peripheral neighborhoods.

Next, Altavista, Titerroy and San Francisco Javier, which Idealista groups for its analysis, have experienced a price increase of 22.6% compared to June of last year, with the square meter reaching 2,000 euros.
Meanwhile, the apartments in the center, whose average price fell for several months in a row, cost 8.6% more than twelve months ago. Currently, the square meter in the center of Arrecife is worth an average of 2,336 euros.
In the case of Valterra, La Vega and Las Salinas, again Idealista analyzes them together, they have only revalued by 5.1% in the last twelve months. The square meter in these neighborhoods currently costs an average of 1,893 euros.
In the entire island, the square meter marked 2,861 euros in June, 14.6% more than it cost a year ago.
